The Social Impact Firm Announces New Business Partnership with Meagan Schmidt to Expand Operations and Impact

Founded by Bree Jensen, The Social Impact Firm has already made tremendous strides in just over a year. Specializing in mission-driven project management, the firm has launched over five thriving social enterprises and numerous programs, raised more than $500,000 for its partners, and collaborated with top nonprofits on operations and strategy. One of its standout initiatives, the Social Impact Students Leadership Program, partners with Pasadena Unified School District and Pasadena City College to teach students leadership and sustainable community impact.

The firm also partners with Pepperdine University to host the annual Social Enterprise Collective in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., where social entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to a panel of investors and experts. Additionally, the firm is collaborating this fall with leading government and educational organizations on global advocacy initiatives.

Introducing Meagan Schmidt, COO
Meagan Schmidt brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, operations, and development. With a background in specialized transportation,  government contracts, fee-for-service models, and a proven track record of raising millions of dollars with her development teams, Meagan is a powerhouse addition to The Social Impact Firm. Her expertise in managing government grants, forming public-private partnerships, and optimizing service delivery will be invaluable to the firm's and its clients' future growth.

Meagan’s previous roles include Director of Operations at Full Access & Coordinated Transportation, Inc., and consultant for various nonprofits such as La Jolla Institute for Immunology, Charitable Adult Rides and Services, and Tariq Khamisa Foundation. Her commitment to promoting equity, advocacy, and community engagement aligns perfectly with The Social Impact Firm’s mission. Meagan is a member of the Board of Directors of Travelers Aid Society of San Diego and Lovely Hearts, Inc. and on the Program Committee of North County Philanthropy Council. She was born and raised in San Diego, California, and enjoys travel, working out, podcasts, spicy food, and spending time with family and friends.

Bree also hosts The Social Impact Podcast, where she interviews social entrepreneurs, corporate social responsibility executives, and nonprofit leaders on their social impact journeys. Bree’s work has been featured in Family Circle, USA Today, and NBC Affiliates. When she’s not working with clients or hosting the podcast, Bree enjoys adventures with her four children.
